Inspirations Market Strategies Research Paper Example
Essays on Inspirations Market Strategies Research Paper The paper "Inspirationââ¬â¢s Market Strategies" is a good example of a research paper on marketing. Inspiration is a company that provides painting services. It aims at having a new distribution strategy to be developed. This will enable them to deliver services efficiently while managing potential channel conflicts which could come up as a result of customers' perceived risks by the losing business due to the new DIFM program. Recently, it has broadly been accepted that sustainable development requires long-term fundamental economic change. This change must involve not only new technologies but also new institutional arrangements and ââ¬â last but not least ââ¬â new consumption patterns.1 Achieving the durability of goods, the private reduction of energy consumption and a new modal split in transportation is not so much a problem of technological possibilities, but rather one of behavior, preferences and individual organization. This begs the question of what economic the ory can contribute to this problem of dynamic change and what kind of theoretical approach is appropriate to deal with it.IntroductionThis report outlines the results from activities that were undertaken in order to recommend a comprehensive distribution strategy for Inspirationââ¬â¢s newly introduced DIFM program. Quantitative, as well as qualitative researches, were conducted in order to gather data and information to examine consumption patterns and consumer needs. Data collected was carefully analyzed using data analysis programs such as SPSS in order to transfer the data into appropriate, logical information sets which can be used to make recommendations to management about the design of a distribution strategy for the DIFM program. This report also incorporates the results of the study of intellectual theories relating to the marketing of services, channel management, and distribution theories. While developing the strategies for distribution, channel conflicts need to be co nsidered in order to ensure that the distribution strategies and channels employed are able to maintain potential channel conflicts to a minimum, especially with Inspirationââ¬â¢s trade customers.Literature ReviewThe Five Forces FrameworkThe Five Forces Framework set out by Michael Porter is a well-known market analysis that examines the degree of competitiveness, various industry forces have on the success of a company in an industry (Peng 2009). This framework underlies the effect of five competitive forces: This, Rivalry among competitors, Threats of potential entry, bargaining power of suppliers, bargaining power of buyers and threat of substitutes. However since the main focus of this project was to develop an effective distribution channel for the new DIFM program, it was then most appropriate to focus on the bargaining power of buyers which examined not only on Inspirations to its trade customers (i.e. the painters) but also Inspirations to its regular customers (i.e. Mums and Dads, Dyers, etc.).

Internet and the Music Industry free essay sample
Cassandra out university of Phoenix In our society today, there is a growing number of consumers using the Internet as a main source for music. The smaller music companies are having to come up with new and different ways to use the Internet to increase their sales. The music companies can drive there sales because so many people are previewing songs online by downloading it first. The artists are also able to capitalize on their music via the Internet. The Internet is capable of reaching all types of people all over the world. The music Industry has been made more accessible by expanding on-based outlines such as the Internet. The artists that have not been signed with anyone find that the Internet gives a great platform to make their music known (Ivies, 2004). With the artists able to put their songs on the Internet for the public to download, they can attain a wider fan base. Many artists, like Madonna, offer free streams and downloads off their new albums before they are released. Artists, like Madonna, realize the positive potential of free music. In the long-term, album sales increase access and exposure of the out of print music, greater influence of independent, and other lesser known artists. The rise of lesser known artists may change the inure soundtrack of the music industry, as many of these artists do not concentrate on making music they know people will buy, but rather music they will think is good. This recognition allows the more obscure form of music, which is considered outside the mainstream, to receive some coverage. These artists flourish with the awareness downloading can give them because the more people who know a product, the better hat product will sell at concerts, on eBay, and various online stores (Positive Effects, 2006). The benefits to recording artists is that they can earn higher royalties by cutting out the middleman, ( Bane, p. 28). When Radioed had released their new album on October 3, 2000, it was number one on the billboard charts. This album was full of heavy electronics, ambient, and experimental Jazz influence, this was not like any other album that has never been produced. All of this done without any interviews, music videos, touring, and radio play. The reason it became number one as from all the downloading on the Internet. The music companies were afraid that this would have kept people from buying the album, but this was not the case. With music more accessible online, it gives the public a chance to expand and experiment with the unknown artists. This allows the public to hear new artists and either buy the new album they downloaded or other albums by the same artists. People all over the world can expand from their culture and what they were brought up on. They can access the Internet and hear music from all other walks of life. Even the songs no longer in print can be heard on the Internet. Music downloading is one way the public can access the dead songs. Artists from the ass and ass that only came out with one song can be found on the Internet. These artists were labeled One hit wonders. The Internet helps people realize Just how important music is to everyone. 1 OFF the fastest way to receive music. The public can also save money by downloading the songs first, before they buy the album. Having the songs downloaded lets the people know whether they will like it or not.It is also stated that having free downloads available will help to increase the popularity of the artists. The ability to have at {Our finger tips virtually every song title that is in print allows consumers to do much greater catalog shopping than at a retail store, (Bane, p. 28). Before the Internet, the smaller music companies were not able to promote many of their artists like the big music companies could. The bigger companies like Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group, Song BMW Music Entertainment, etc. , have the big dollars to promote all f their artists.Because the Internet has caught on, all of the music companies can promote everyone. Even the little companies can do this. Hopefully, the music industry will look at this as a blessing in disguise for the underground labels. Looking at this in the short-term of things, downloading music could hurt the music Industry and their profits. However, later down the line, it will eventually benefit them. In a study done by Ipso-Reid, it shows that 81% of the public that download music, often spend at least the same on records or even more than they did before unloading music from the Internet. The record industry must concentrate on offering value to the user and adapt to the publics needs (Ivies, 2004). The music industry should try to realize that the ideas behind free downloads can benefit them. Rhea should do what they can to market more from it, rather than turning their noses Jp at the technology behind it. They should realize that they waste more money on fighting the sites that offer free downloads and lobbing Congress to stop the downloading, they should build a system in which all music is readily available free.Making sites with easy to follow links to other online music store so that the people can buy music from the same place that they listen to it. With music industry coming into the light of the Internet, they will be able to capitalize on the marketing possibilities. The music artists are already using the Internet to help promote their music. Most of them has allowed their music to be on the Internet and downloaded for free. The artists know this will boost their sales for concerts and their merchandise.

Poetry For The Art free essay sample
It only takes a moment for the words to stretch and find themselves snapping into place. They reach and converse until it all makes some sort of sense and theres my expression. I found myself looking for poetry in everything. From places obvious, like lyrics to music and collections by E.E. Cummings, to the way I could explain how I felt at the moment or in the things people close to me did or said. Somehow after a year of writing a poem a day I see that the work I do with words often translates itself into my art work. Its easy to work with a concept after I write a poem based on the idea. It helps to anchor me to the work and keeps me from losing interest in a piece. Theres this one piece I have of a woman standing on her hands, her handholds a glass box with a gold pocket watch swinging inside, already broken, shooting these red arrows with her feet while chaos surrounds her and two towers rise before her with the words Wonderful Torment written on them. We will write a custom essay sample on Poetry For The Art or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page After I drew it out I felt automatically attached to the piece because every part of it meant something and words helped me connect myself to the situation my character was in. She was in a state of chaos while trying to keep her balance, and even living through her own arrows coming back to get her. Being a teenager is living in this state of constant chaos all while trying to keep control of yourself and the choices you make, because in the end thats what defines us. And some people turn to negative things to keep it all from making them fall off their hands, instead I choose art and poetry to keep me grounded. Im expressing myself and finding new ways to show people a piece of myself, even if its a little bit confusing to someone who might not know me well. All the things we go through change us and stick themselves into the little crevice of who we are. Without the moment where I first picked up a pencil with the desire to draw, I wouldnt have even thought to go to the school I go to, I wouldnt have met all these people who have helped me learn about life and how things work and how giving up on something you want to do because its too hard is a ridiculous notion. The one thing about art that I want to do but struggle with, is my self portraits. But who says Im going to give up on it? No way! Im going to struggle with it until I dont anymore. I can get as frustrated with myself for messing up proportion, or getting the shading wrong in a certain spot of my oddly made face but in the end Im always going to go back in and work until it feels right. Ill use my mishaps as a learning experience, theyll teach me patients and what it is to care about something enough to continue through it no matter what. Its the thought that counts and the thought will always translate into one of the two mediums I use to express them. Put the idea of giving up into perspective. What if the architect never finished his sketches? No building can be made. What if our English teachers decided to read half the book and test us on the whole thing? Everyone would fail! What if you didnt write your college essay because the idea of it stumped you? Good luck getting into college! Everyday we all make a choice to continue with the things we get started and as an artist that is a quality that is needed in order to succeed. I refuse to let any of my ideas go to waste. This year I wrote a poem a day and so far I have a little over three hundred. Next year I think Ill do a poem and a drawing to match it every day that way I know I wont give up on it. Giving up gets us nowhere, so Im going to do whatever it takes to stay focused and get past obstacles in order to survive as an artist. Im keeping that one good quality about me and using it to my advantage.
